Refund policy

We have a 7-day return policy if you wish to receive a full refund, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. All sale items are a final sale and are not eligible for a return. Items requested to be returned after the 7 days will be issued store credit if returned within 30 days. Following the 30 days, items are not eligible for a return. If your item needs to be shipped back to us, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping. A return label will be emailed to you, along with an invoice for the shipping costs. You will receive your refund or store credit after the return shipping costs have been paid for and the item has been received back in the store. Store credit will be emailed to you via a digital gift card if your return is not made in person. Returns made within the 7 days will be credited back to your credit card. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you are not able to provide a receipt but bring the items to the store in the same condition as they left you will receive store credit. 

If you received your items as a gift and want to exchange them for something else you must have the receipt to do so and will only receive store credit. If you require a return label to send back your gifts, the shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit. Your store credit will be issued as a gift card and sent to you via email. 

To start a free return, you can contact us at Shop@maeitbehome.com. If the return is approved we will email you a return label. You will be in charge of shipping your item back to us. Once your item is received and found to be in good condition your refund will be submitted. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You can email pictures to Shop@maeitbehome.com Damaged items must be reported within 7 days. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
